I came into knitting as a child and has been obsessed ever since. After many years of hand knitting only, I was taught to use the knitting machine and it opened up a new world. I currently work from home in North London and take part in local makers market. Check out my social media for announcements on where I will be next.
My Story
I grew up in Norway and learnt to knit with my Mum, Grandmother and Aunts. At family gatherings the women always had some craft work to hand, so it was natural to join in and learn from them. I started selling my own creations around the time my son was born and I have continued for over 20 years to date. I see knitting as a form of not only work, but also as a type of meditation in the sense that it calms down your breathing and you allow yourself to spend time making a garment the slow way.
